'Dad Dont Go!'

This photo caught my eye last night whilst clicking away through the pages of Google.
It is extremely truthful, painful, (if you're sensitive), frightfully comparable and also has some warmth to it.
There is quite an understanding with the people in this photo too. The mum acknowledges her sons urgency and shares the emotions he displays but in a different manner. She accepts the rules as to walk beside the soldiers but also accepts that her son would not apprehend these rules because; his father is there so why should he not be allowed to run to him? The line of soldiers behind smiling and connecting to the situation without interfering and the way the father turns to his son smiling and has simultaneously changed hands with his Rifle in order to clasp his boys hand for what could be the last time. A heart grabbing moment frozen for all time...

Shop On Hackney Road

I have wanted to post this one for a while now, but procrastinated because i did not manage to get the information needed to promote it properly. I got to visit this vintage shop with Mr Jules. This Store was beautifully curated and had lots of flavour from trinkets to clothes and furniture. With a main floor and basement it screamed elegance and simplicity. Both of which i believe to be most important for any shop. You are already drawn in by the time you see the window display.
